wavCard

Have you received a google wave invitation? Please let me know if you don’t, and are longing for one. I have more than 20 invitations right now.

OK, let’s talk about the theme. wavCard is inspired Tim Van Damme, and the interface is definitely influenced by Google Wave. You can setup your vCard site with it in no time. Just activate this theme, go to theme options page, leave your information and save it. That’s all. Really easy huh? I also used jQuery lib to make some slick effects, such as sliding and fading.

If you are not using WordPress and still want to use this design, the static HTML file is also included in the package. You can edit it and encode into any dynamic script at your desire. It is also a very good example for JavaScript’s graceful degradation. Disable scripts in your browser and see what happens.

I was very busy these days so the site’s updating has been slowed down since Christmas. I feel really sorry but I have to earn a living first, hope you understand it. You can also donate (from my themes’ options page). Thank you for supporting.

Happy Holidays

Christmas is coming, it’s a good idea to skin your site with a holiday style looking. I know there are thousands of people around the globe who use WordPress to run their sites. A Christmas theme may what they are looking for at the moment, thus I spent several days on this new freebie.

Honestly, I can’t think of a good name rather than what is using now – Happy Holidays. Simply because it’s the most often words people say to each other when another year is coming close. If you have any good suggestion, do not hesitate to contact me.

As a holiday theme made for Christmas, it might be used by people from other countries of the world that do not use English as the first language. In that way people may need to open every PHP script in notepad and translate into their own native languages concretely. Really SUCKS, right? That’s the reason I made this theme ready for multilingual, so that everybody despite of what language he/she speaks could have this it on his/her site with ease. However, this brings me another big problem which I’m not able to get over – the foreign languages! I don’t know other languages so I can’t supply any language files, but I’ve included a translation template in the theme package. If anyone is will to lend a hand and translate this theme, please drop me a message. Many thanks to Entertainment World for providing the Chinese Simplified language pack. I’m looking forward to receiving more from you all.

Happy holidays to you all! And by the way, Santa is hidden in this theme, can you find him?

Accordion Lite

How is going everybody? In the past two weeks I was too busy to pay attention to my site. During the time I made a paid theme for a customer, traveled over two thousand miles, and did some other boring things… Anyway, let’s get back and go on talking about WordPress themes.

The paid theme I just made is called Accordion. My customer is so kind that she allowed me to release a lite version on my site for free download. And this is it – I named it Accordion Lite. Though cut off some advanced functions, Accordion Lite still has some nice features, such as easily insert google analytics tracking code, dynamic layout and font switch. For more information about its cool features, the best way is downloading and using it on your site.

By the way, if you are using my other themes, please visit my site to see if you’re using the latest version. :)
