Flowers in Dream

Recently somebody asked me whether I have themes for personal blog. Well, since WPB was just launched two months ago, there are only five themes on the site. However, these themes work very well on various versions of WordPress under different major browsers. Further more the options page of them is a simple way for you to customize without touching the scripts, such as AdSense code, Analytics tracking code, Twitter account, and even more.

As being requested, I spent some time to make one “personal” theme in the past several days. And, that’s it, a simple and nice floral theme. Looks like it suits girls better than boys, and somewhat feel like spring.

Percy Bysshe Shelley once said “If winter comes, can Spring be far behind?” I don’t like winter much but… let’s anticipate the Christmas anyway.

Serif Lover

Remember the words I said last week? Huh~~ you don’t need to wait another 11 days before the next theme. And now it is – a fluid width three column theme named “Serif Lover”.

I’ve been thinking of making a minimalist theme for so long, but never really make a move. This theme is my first attempt in this area – although not as that minimal as you thought, right? I love the feeling of traditional presswork, so I use all serif fonts (Georgia in normal condition and Times New Roman as substitute) in this theme to bring it a special sense of printed matter. I made a little change of my coding habit as well, especially characters encoding. So now this theme performs very well in W3C’s XHTML and CSS validation, without wiping off any special features in my last themes.

According to these features described above, it’s quite suitable for professional copy writers from my perspective. There are also other advantages by using this theme on your blog. Hope you like it.

By the way, I’m very glad if you can give me some inspirations. You may also request a theme in a certain subject.

Serenity Oceans

How is going friends? The first theme of WPB was published on Oct 6th, 11 days ago. I know it’s a bit long, but I always want to try my best to make everything perfect. Hope you understand me, and enjoy the themes. Thanks guys.

This time I’m back with the theme Serenity Oceans – a clean and glossy theme with peaceful colors. Just like its name, a sense of serenity. Can you feel it?

This theme is downward compatible, and compliant with several different web browsers. There is an advert area in the sidebar, you can edit it very easily according to README in the theme package. I also improve it a little on posts navigation. The great plugin wp-pagenavi (author: Lester Chan) is now integrated into this theme. And by the way, Diary of Dreams is also upgraded with this plugin built in.

Well, I guess you won’t wait another 11 days to get the next theme. I’m trying to be a little faster.

P.S. The name of this theme was inspired by my wife. I thank her for helping and supporting me throught the time.
